Introduction
Financial data deserves careful handling, and privacy claims should be specific rather than vague. Total Wealth Tracker is built around manual platform-level tracking, which changes what data the app needs from you.
No broker credentials for manual tracking
To use the core tracking model, you add the name and values of a broker, account or asset bucket yourself. You do not need to provide brokerage usernames or passwords, and the app does not connect to brokerage APIs to import positions.
Account and privacy controls
- Email verification: New cloud accounts can use email verification as part of registration.
- Amount masking: Values on the Overview can be hidden when you do not want balances visible on screen.
- Workspace roles: Shared workspaces support owner, editor and viewer roles.
- GDPR export: Account data can be exported from the account controls.
- Permanent account deletion: Cloud account deletion is available with password confirmation.
- Clear local data: Local device data can be cleared separately from deleting a cloud account.
What we do not claim
Total Wealth Tracker does not currently offer two-factor authentication. We also do not describe the product as using end-to-end encryption, independent security audits or other controls unless those capabilities are explicitly implemented and documented.
Shared portfolio considerations
If you invite a partner to a workspace, remember that the selected role determines what that person can do within the shared portfolio. Only share access with someone you trust.

Can I export or delete my account data?
Yes. The account controls include GDPR export and permanent account deletion flows.
